Dental Bridges

Missing teeth can impact your appearance and quality of life, making it difficult to eat comfortably and speak properly.

A natural-looking dental bridge can restore the aesthetics and function of your smile.

At White Pine Dental in Murray and Herriman, UT, our dentists can replace missing teeth with traditional and implant-supported bridges.

What Are the Benefits of Dental Bridges?

Protect Your Oral Health

When you lose teeth, your remaining teeth may shift to fill in the gap. This shifting can cause misalignment and overcrowding. In turn, it may be more difficult to properly brush and floss your teeth, leading to tooth decay and other concerns

Strengthen Your Bite

Tooth loss can impair your bite, leading to uneven wear on your healthy teeth and limiting the foods you're able to consume. Dental bridges restore a strong, even bite and give you the freedom to eat what you once couldn't.

Preserve Your Jawbone

After tooth loss, your jawbone naturally begins to deteriorate since it lacks the stimulation your tooth roots used to provide. While a traditional bridge cannot address this problem, dental implants provide the stimulation your jaw needs to stay strong.

Insurance and Financing Accepted

Traditional dental bridges are typically covered by insurance. However, if you don't have insurance, your insurance doesn't cover treatment, or you're getting an implant-supported bridge, we accept CareCredit® financing and offer our own White Pine Dental Savings Plan to help with out-of-pocket dental expenses.

The Process of Placing a Traditional Dental Bridge

If you receive an implant-supported bridge, you will first undergo dental implant surgery to create a strong foundation for your prosthesis.

Consulting With Us

Come into our Murray or Herriman offices for a free consultation with our dental team. We can determine if a dental bridge is right for you and start the process of transforming your smile.

Previewing Your Results

Before your dentistry procedure, we will take digital impressions of your smile using our advanced CEREC® Primescan technology. We can create a 3D replica of your custom bridge with these scans.

Numbing the Area

On the day of your dentistry procedure at our Utah office, we will begin by administering a local anesthetic to ensure optimal comfort and a virtually painless procedure.

Preparing the Teeth

Your dentist will reshape the teeth on either side of your gap in preparation for the anchoring dental crowns. This process involves removing a small portion of enamel to create a sturdy base for the bridge to sit.

Placing the Bridge

Before securing your dental bridge, your dentist will check for proper fit and color to ensure the best results. If no modifications are needed, we can fix your bridge in place using dental cement, revealing a beautifully enhanced smile.
