Smiling woman

Are you looking for a quick way to cover imperfections like chipped, stained, or gapped teeth?

You can achieve a natural-looking, beautiful smile with veneers in just two visits to our Murray or Herriman, UT, offices.

At White Pine Dental, we offer custom-designed porcelain veneers and ultra-thin Lumineers to dramatically transform your smile.

What Are Veneers?

Traditional Veneers

Our traditional dental veneers are thin IPS e.max® porcelain shells placed onto your teeth to hide flaws and create a natural-looking smile. Porcelain veneers are translucent, reflecting light similarly to natural tooth enamel. They are custom-built for your teeth for a seamless smile. A small amount of your enamel will be smoothed down for the shells to lay flat with surrounding teeth.

Ask Us About Porcelain Veneers

Our traditional dental veneers are strong and lifelike, but because this treatment is irreversible, patients must commit to maintaining a restoration. If you want a faster and reversible alternative, we also offer Lumineers®. Less enamel is removed to place these ultra-thin shells. Our dentists are Certified Lumineers Dentists and can advise if this cosmetic dentistry process is right for you.

Consulting With Us

During your consultation, your dentist will determine if veneers are right for your smile and how many veneers you will need. A small amount of enamel is removed from each treated tooth to provide room for the porcelain veneer to lie flush with your natural teeth. Less (if any) enamel is removed if you receive Lumineers.

Impressions and Previewing Results

During your first appointment, a digital impression of the tooth is made using CEREC® Primescan technology. Using digital smile design technology, we can also give you a preview of what your smile will look like after treatment.

Waiting for the Veneers

We send your digital impressions to our laboratory for manufacturing your final veneers. While you wait, a temporary veneer is placed on your teeth for protection. Lab work typically takes 2-3 weeks.

Placing the Veneers

The lab will send us your custom-made veneers, and you'll come back to our Murray or Herriman, UT, offices for your second appointment.

Your temporary veneer is removed, and your teeth are cleaned while the veneer is rinsed and air-dried. The custom veneer is cemented and placed on your tooth for an exact fit.

Curing the Veneers

A 60-second light cure on the veneer then follows to attach it to your tooth.

Polishing the Veneers

Our dentist will remove any excess adhesive and polish the margins of the veneer. Your dentist will likely schedule a follow-up visit to check that your veneers are sitting comfortably.

Fantastic staff! Each and everyone there is very friendly and knows how to make you as comfortable as possible. As someone with severe anxiety when it comes to dental work, it was by far the least stress or anxiety I've ever felt.
